Modern Language Center was founded by Mr. Yousef
Awad, born in a village on the outskirts of Jerusalem in
1936. With a little money and a lot of faith, Professor
Yousef Awad traveled to the United States of America
with the aim of obtaining a Master’s degree and a BA
in Economics and Business Administration. After
returning home, he found it necessary to establish a
cultural center for languages to serve the people of his
homeland and strengthen the status of Arabic and
foreign languages. Five decades have passed since the
establishment of Modern Language Center in Jabal AlWeibdeh and it continues to maintain its family
character and its effective role in the development and
training of thousands to enable them to absorb and
master many of the living languages through the
language programs successfully and confidently laid
out.
The Center continues to serve a wide range of
students of all ages, including businessmen,
housewives, employees of official institutions, nonprofit organizations, volunteers and school students
from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, neighboring
countries and many Western and Asian countries. The
family atmosphere that we maintain in our relationship
with the students, and which we are keen on is one of
our advantages that contribute to our progress, one
success to another, growth and continuous giving. And
of course, the quality of education and devotion led to
honoring Modern Language Center an award in
Education, which was granted by the late King Hussein
Bin Talal; and also led the center to obtain a
permanent license (lifetime) from the Ministry of
Education in Jordan

Modern Language Center is one of the best, long-established and
specialized language centers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
in particular and the Middle East in general.
The center features classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art
education, as well as air conditioning and heating.
The center has three main outdoor areas for activities and events
fully equipped with benches, tables, umbrellas against sun and
rain.
The center is equipped with special corridors for students with
special needs to facilitate their movement between the center and
its facilities

Modern Language Bureau

Modern Language Bureau was established
early in 2016, with the aim of providing a
full range of student services and academic
guidance services for students who are
wishing to pursue their scientific studies
abroad. The administration of the office
was keen to employ all the capabilities and
expertise which is necessary to provide an
academic guidance service based on
scientific and practical well thought out,
and complies with the highest quality
standards in this field
